A week of reflection
Welcome back to the first newsletter of 2022! It feels kinda great to be typing out some ideas again and creating new resources.
This past week has been a bit of a strange one. After 3 weeks of doing literally no work on my business and very very little client work, everything felt a little alien.
It did, however, give me the chance to really think about the stage I am currently at and what I want to spend my time on. So, although I am well aware that consistency is important and that regular content can work wonders, the next 6 months (I won’t get into the details), will be very difficult for me to with regards to finding that extra available time every single week for new content. I am just a human trying her best :).
This is my way of giving you a heads up that this newsletter will be changing from a weekly newsletter to a (mostly) weekly newsletter. Think of it as the fine print. Some weeks I may just not make it.
I love creating content, but I also hate creating content just for the sake of it - it usually ends up being rubbish.
Bottom line: I am so thrilled you are here, I can’t wait to write more newsletters and I hope we both keep learning and growing together!
New resource incoming
Remember last week I told you I was working on my ultimate welcome sequence guide? Well, it’s almost finished!
Here’s the contents as it stands so far:
Here’s why I want you to know all about it: I would absolutely love some feedback before it goes live.
Once it’s done (aiming for the end of the week), I’m looking to send it to some people for their thoughts - would you like in?
I will be charging a small fee for the download so if you want a peek before this happens, hit reply or send me a DM and you’ll get first access and then you can tell me what you think :)
This is the first thing I have made of this size (only a humble 40 pages) so any and all feedback would be highly appreciated!
Article of the week
Does your writing take a stance? - Kaleigh Moore
Key points:
Writing with feeling and conviction can be scary but not doing it:
Can lead to writing that reads as non-committal, wishy-washy, or fluff.
Can mean surrendering your platform to simply regurgitating what other people think/say on the issue.
Can put you on the sidelines where you’re not sharing your two cents and using your personal voice.
Learn to leverage your personal insights.
